[MR] changing the Queen's Arms

I don't know, Your Highness. I know that some other
kingdoms have similar arms for king and queen, except
the queen's arms has a chaplet of roses instead of the
laurel wreath.

 I don't really think it's a "widespread problem", but
the awareness of the meaning is there on some level.
Most people in the general (read non-Heraldic)
populace had probably forgotten or were not aware of
the pun until the proposal to change it back was made
public.

Obviously you and Her Highness have reasons for
wanting to make this change, and based on Count
Havorc's post, this is not a new idea. Although I'm
personally resistant to the image of a "furry/bearded
clam", I am open to hearing the reasoning of people
who favor the change. While I don't think we should
downplay or ignore the negative connotations, neither
should we magnify them to more than they deserve.

Ultimately, I think that members of the populace need
to balance the historical importance of the old device
with those negative aspects and make their own
decisions as to how to respond to the polling.
Personally, if we change back, I'll be just as proud
to be an Atlantian, and just as supportive of our
queen as I try to be now.
