Northern Regional Practice
June 30th, 2002
Barony of Storvik

When: Sunday, June 30, 2002; MOL open at 11:30am, inspections and 
authorizations begin immediately thereafter, Battles to begin at 12:00pm.

Site: At the site of the Storvik Novice Tournament, Marietta House 
Museum at 5626 Bell Station Road, Glenn Dale, MD 20769-9120. This is 
close to the corner of Rt. 193 and Rt. 450 on Rt. 193. and follows the 
Storvik Novice Tourney on Saturday, June 29th! Two days of fighting for 
one event!

Activities: Heavy fighting for PENNSIC Battlefield Practice (to include 
some Archery Scenarios if a Combat Archery Marshal can be located) If 
there are some hardy souls that wish to bring siege weapons, Please 
contact Sir Thorbrandr in advance via email at Thorbrandr at earthlink.net 
to ensure there will be scenarios. If you wish to call, do so no later 
than 10pm at (301) 855-3631.

Food: Sorry, No feast!

Cost: Sunday is at no cost (donations will be gladly accepted though!).

Directions:

Marietta Mansion is off of Route 193, Glenn Dale Blvd., just north of 
Route 450, Annapolis Road. From the Beltway, take Exit 20 onto Rt. 450 
East. Go 4 miles. Turn left on Rt. 193 go about 0.38 miles. Turn left 
onto Bell Station Rd. for 0.06 miles. Turn left again into Marietta.

 From Baltimore, Take 95 South to the Beltway, go left onto 95/495 
South. Take exit 23 (Kenilworth Ave.). Keep right so you can turn left 
onto Rt. 193 on the over-pass. Keep going until you see the signs for 
Marietta Mansion on the right. If you get to the Rt. 450 junction, you 
have overshot, turn around and take the first left. Directions from 
Virginia: Get on 95 north to 95/495 north. Take exit 23 and follow the 
directions from Kenilworth Avenue above.
