[MR] EAST COAST REGIONAL FIGHTER PRACTICE

Greetings to All Heavy and Rapier Fighters;

A date and a location have been set for the holding of an East Coast 
Regional Fighter Practice.

  LOCATION:  Stronghold of Ravens Cove, Jacksonville, NC
      DATE:  30 JUNE 2002     TIME:  11:00 AM

We normally hold our practices at 1:00 pm.  I would like to start this one a 
little earlier before the temperature and humitity climbs too high.

Plans are in the works for holding a Marshalling 101 class for all MITs.  
Further, there may be a Rapier Marshalling 102 class also.  I will have to 
check with the Kingdom Earl Marshall about a Heavy Marshalling 102, unless 
there is someone qualified to teach it that is willing to come down this 
way.

Further, I would like to track the numbers of those coming to this in order 
to cover all needs.  If you are making plans to come please let me know.

DIRECTIONS:

  From the North along the coast:  Hwy 17 South through Jacksonville to 
junction of Hwy 17 and Hwy 24.  Stay in left lane to the traffic light just 
past the 17/24 junciton.  Turn left.  Parking available in the Navy Federal 
Credit Union parking lot.  Practice in field behind credit union.

  From the South along the coast:  Hwy 17 North through two traffic lights.  
Turn right at third light.  Park in credit union parking lot.

  From the west:  Hwy 24 East to junction of Hwy 17 and 24.  Move into far 
right lane and turn right at junction traffic light onto Hwy 17 South.  Move 
all the way over to left lane and turn left at the next light.  Park in 
credit union parking lot.

  From the far north:  Best route to I-95, than to I-40 East.  Take Exit 373 
off of I-40 (Magnolia Exit).  Turn left at top of exit ramp.  Follow to Hwy 
24 East to Jacksonville.  Move into far right lane and turn right at 
junction traffic light onto Hwy 17 South.  Move all the way over to left 
lane and turn left at the next light.  Park in credit union parking lot.


  From the far west by way of Raleigh:  I-40 East to exit 373 (Magnolia 
Exit).  Turn left at top of exit ramp.  Follow to Hwy 24 East to 
Jacksonville.  Move into far right lane and turn right at junction traffic 
light onto Hwy 17 South.  Move all the way over to left lane and turn left 
at the next light.  Park in credit union parking lot.
