For anyone interested, I can provide information as to how I made my handwagon from mainly "found parts. When I park it, I take the piece of rope hanging from the front tongue and throw a quick lash around a convenient tree or post to keep it balanced. I have two large baskets for carrying stuff in that go on it, but I'm considering weaving a large square permanent basket on it with kudsu or some such invasive species. The hubs are galvanized conduit flanges with a 1.75 I.D. bolted on each side (from Home Depot). The 1.75 inch hardwood pole for the axle was the hardest thing to find. The whole thing breaks down with wing-nuts that are concealed on the underside. Pneumatic tires and a chrome steel axle would work much better, but then, they just wouldn't inspire folks to shout "bring out your dead" like this one! Baron Arkein
