Good friends,

The Marshal's Roster is in a state of disrepair, and we need your help URGENTLY to repair it.

If you believe yourself to be a Marshal in any discipline, please take the time to go to the Marshal's page, and check the appropriate roster. If you are not present, contact your Discipline marshal.
Group officers may wish to check the roster for your Group Officers... We have not had a chance to compare the current roster with the Geography, but I remind you that a group without a Rostered Knigh Marshal must get an outside Marshal to sign on Event Submissions. We are soon (4-6 weeks post pennsic, I hope) going to compare the Event Submission records with the event reports and the Rosters, so please have your self on the roster by that time if you should be there!
Remember to be a Rostered Marshal you need to be a current member of the SCA, have completed the Apprenticeship program, and attended class within 2 years. This last has been honored in the breach most recently, but Kevin of Thornbury is offering training classes now at Universities. If you have not taken one recently, please make every attempt to get to the next one!

This is quite important to ensure that all authorizations are conducted by Rostered Marshals. Cards signed by those off the Roster are invalid, and need to be refought, or otherwise resolved. A number of authorizations have been returned to the KEM office for resolution. So far, 7 of 22 have been resolved by the marshals demonstrating that they SHOULD have been on the roster, but never made it. We are hoping to up those numbers, to get all the folks who worked hard to get on the field for Pennsic the right to do so.

    Your help will be appreciated!

Thanks so much,

Badouin Mackenzie
