I knew I was forgetting something!  Too many holidays all crowded
into one part of the year, maybe...

Herein are the Acceptances for October 2001:

roundels azure.

While this submission had no forms, only a Pennsic worksheet from the
main Heralds' Point, the Atlantian College of Heralds processed it
anyway, transferring the information to the proper forms.  The
rational was that the submitter undoubtedly misunderstood the Point's
instruction that ‘this has to go through your kingdom' and made a
good-faith submission.

In view of the tradition that one of the Three Magi was named
"Gaspar", the Atlantian CoH was about evenly split as to whether this
was a returnable ‘joke name' or one registerable in the spirit of the
recently registered ‘Gemma Stone'.  We have therefore sent it on for
a Laurel ruling.

Submitted as Tahir the Crazy, we found that ‘crazy' in period meant
‘full of cracks or flaws : unsound, crooked, askew'.  Sincet the
submitter specifically wanted the byname to mean ‘insane', we have
changed it to a period alternate.
