Hi everyone,
Just wanted to give you a heads-up warning: if you were planning to go to
the Holiday Inn on Rte.3 Saturday to buy a sewing machine, DON'T DO IT!!
I received a hot pink flyer in my Stafford newspaper from Tailor Sewing
Maching Company, who will be selling these amazing sewing machines because
they were so very overstocked. These $800 machines are on sale for only
$199 and they sew leather and silk without requiring a tension adjustment,
as well as buttonholes and fancy embroidery stitches, and they have an
attachment for surging as well.
Sound too good to be true? IT IS! These piece of junk machines have been
sold in the same way for years. It's a marketing ploy from a disreputable
company. I looked them up on the web, hoping to find a picture of this
great new find for which I was going to be late to 12th Night (HAH!)
All I found was a whole lot of warnings from people who have been ripped
off. I'm mad and I didn't even buy one! Truth is, I really was excited
about it....but I guess it just goes to show that you should do your
research instead of impulse buying, which I am very prone to!
In Service,
Morgaine
