Like many things, the Queen's Spears unit has waxed and waned.  It's been
a few years since we've fought as a unit, with folks like myself leading 
baronial
units for a bit and others taking a break. You'll still the occasional blue and
white banded spear out on the field (something many but not all of us did
to mark our spears).
