    Greetings one and all,

As we promised when we had to postpone this event, the Shire of Hindscroft
has re-scheduled "Would Caesar Believe This?" It is now set for March 23.
The correct event flyer follows in the body of this message. We invite one
and all to come and enjoy the day with us.

                                           Would Caesar Believe This?

    March 22-24, the Shire of Hindscroft is proud to present "Would Caesar
believe this?"  This
event features a myriad of martial activities such as Heavy combat, Rapier
combat, Equestrian
games and an Archery shoot. Fighters of all sorts, this is your day to shine
as a gladiator! In the
best tradition of Rome, each fighter ( Heavy, Rapier, Equestrian or
Archery ) must be "bought"
by either a non-fighter or a fighter from a different discipline in order to
enter the field of
combat.  Fighters may wear tokens from multiple buyers. Buyers tokens will
be available at
Troll for a modest fee. Winners of the martial activities will be our Roman
Senators for the day.

      There will be an A&S competition for the best Roman Artifact. There
will Also be a silent
auction where a portion of the proceeds will go to the Kingdom Travel Fund.
Children`s
activities will be available.

     To finish the day, a delicious feast will be served with reveling to
follow.

    The site is Camp Sertoma, which  features a marvelous Hotel as well as
heated cabins
complete with bathrooms and showers.  Feast will be limited so make
reservations early. Tent
Camping is available for those wishing to brave the spring night air.  The
site is Discreetly wet,
no original containers.  The site opens at noon on Friday the 22nd of March
and closes at noon
on Sunday the 24th.

    To participate in the Equestrian games you must make reservations. NO
EXCEPTIONS!  Any
person wishing to bring a horse or rent a horse should contact the
Equestrian Marshal-in-Charge
for an information packet.  It is necessary to pre-reserve the rental horses
 no later than March 10.

    Paid reservations are reservations made.  The Site is first come  first
serve.  If you wait until
the last minute we cannot guarantee Feast,  Hotel or Cabin space.  Feast
space is limited, so
please make reservations early. For advanced reservations, please send

 Pricing-
                 Site Fee: $12.00                Feast : $5.00
                 Cabin space : $5.00 for the weekend
                 Children 5 and under free and 6-12 for Half price.

Directions:

     From the South, East and West: From US Hwy 52 North in Winston-Salem,
take State
Hwy 64 east towards Rural Hall. After about 3 miles, turn north onto State
Hwy 66. Continue
approximately ten miles toward Westfield and turn right onto Moores Spring
Rd. Camp Sertoma
is on the right with a large 4-H sign at the main entrance. Those with Horse
trailers may proceed
directly to the barn area just past the main entrance.

     From the North: From US Hwy 52 South out of Mt. Airy, take State Hwy
268 East
through Pilot Gap to Hwy 66 South. Moores Spring Road will be about 4 miles
on the Left.
Continue on Moores Spring Road as above.
