FREE publicity is usualy monitarily free, but time cost.

1.Get in contact with local paper for a human interest story on the SCA. Make sure contact info is involved.

2. Most local cable companies have public access, do a SCA/Baronial 1/2 hour show. They usualy volunteer the equipment, you supply the staff. They then show it on public access.

3.Local PBS channels look for volunteers for the phone watch on their money drives. Have some of the local populace volunteer to man the phones in garb.

4.Morning radio shows that are "Wild and Crazy," are always looking for schtick to do. Offer to "fight" one of them on air. I beleive HRH Logan did something like that last year. (Please correct if I am mistaken.)

5.Not only have practice in public areas, but in strategic areas. Right across the street from a local TV station would be good.
