I read that web site. Taking it at face value and not attempting to
account for likely (and understandable) bias, I found Aveloc's case
to be weak. He talks around and past the points of the charges in many
cases instead of denying them. 

I don't have the greatest confidence in the impartiality of the 
investigation, but I am not convinced that the BoD is as unredeemingly
evil as Aveloc tries to make them.

I suspect that the BoD reached a substantially accurate conclusion in
spite of their process. Their punishment may have been excessive, but
the core of their concern appears to be valid.
