Fascinating (in the good sense). The scenario Avaloc puts forth
would not be permissible under Atlantian Law (unless that were one 
of the waivable provisions -- I suspect not), but it does raise 
provocative points that are worth open discussion. The rationale 
does not appear to be "silly" or "asinine".
