The Barony of Tir-y-Don wishes to invite you to our Baronial Birthday and
Investiture. Come celebrate the culmination of the prosperous reign of the
(Dread) Baroness Oriana of Xylina and join with her in welcoming our new
Baron and/or Baroness.

Fighting: There will be tourneys to choose the new champions in heavy,
rapier, archery as well as added activities in all disciplines.

Arts/Sciences: There is a bevy of Arts and Science activities planned. There
are three competitions planned. Novice competition:  Works entered shall be
of a craft learned within the last year.  Items that have previously won a
prize in any forum are not eligible. Best use of Baronial colors and/or the
heraldic dolphin:  Items entered must include the colors of blue, white,
green, and red, or feature the heraldic dolphin. Members of the Order of the
Whelk are especially encouraged to participate by entering an item in any
category or leaving positive comments and tokens to encourage the entrants.

Additionally there will be an artists’ tea sponsored by Mistress Lucrezia
Brancaccio. The idea is to gather artists together to look at the displays
and share current projects during a fellowship/social gathering. Finally
Lady Assar merch Owen and Mistress Lucrezia Brancaccio are sponsoring a
judged 'period toy' competition. Please contact Mistress Lucrezia

Merchants: Merchants are always welcome.  Please contact the autocrat in
advance so that we can better plan for space.

Feast: A period Italian themed Feast will be prepared by Lady Lavender de
Morten.  For dietary questions/concerns please e-mail her at
