Please don't start a big argument about someone else's
methods online.  The Merry Rose is a resource.  She
should be able to use it.  Connecting modern names to
SCA names is a huge help to scribes.  When you get a
backlog assignment, it's important to be able to
contact the person before hand to help with
personalization.

Dozens of other methods have been tried as one who
tried my darnedest to help with projects like this
when I was Clerk of Signet.  Most current names and
contact info are online.  Older names and info are
not.  And Mistress Mordrea is a brilliant engineer. 
I'm sure all automated possibilities have been tried
already.
