I would also like to add that "Inova Alexandria" and "Inova Mt Vernon" are both hospitals and currently in a mass casualty alert, at least through today and maybe tomorrow . They are currently only letting employees and emergency personal into the hospital areas. But I would encourage ANYONE who can to give blood later in the week 
it will still be desparetly needed once the intial shock wears off.It can not be said enough.
