It behooves us all not to panic at a time like this. Doing so simply plays
into the hands of terrorists. That's the terror they try to foment. Your
water supply is no more vulnerable now than it ever has been in your life.
Staying calm and seeing what you can do to help is a better approach IMO.
Give blood..see if the airports in your area are requesting assistance for
stranded travelers.

It is important to recognize that if you wish to prevent terrorism you have
to set a their to catch a their. You can give up some of your freedoms in
favor of  strong security measures (strip searches at airports a la El Al
Airlines in Israeli ) which I find unacceptable, or go about your life. You
cannot prevent a terrorist attack from a zealot willing to die for his
cause. You can deny him the ability to hamper your life by not panicking.

I don't mean to proselytize, but I've lived with this stuff overseas before.
Just as Israelis, the English, Irish, and so many others do elsewhere in the
world. America is a different place for many people now.
