[MR] courtesy to ladies

Courtesy is not only offering help, but having the grace to politely
accept/refuse an offer to be helped.  I attended two events the past
two
weekends at the same site - hilly, rocky, full of exposed roots on the
trail.  Many folk complained about climbing up the hill to the hall.
Several times during these two weekends I offered to help people with
stuff, or just give them a hand climbing the hill - and was most often
refused (once *very* rudely).

I'm not offering help because I think you *can't* do it.  I'm trying to
help you get over the unpleasant things quicker so that we can all get
to the fun things faster.

All I ask is that you keep that in mind next time I walk up to you and
ask 'can I help you with that?'
