[MR] crown tourney

greetings gentles..i am fairly new to the sca, having been a member for just 
under six months...yet i am fascinated with the way we choose our 
royals...could someone please give a quick lesson in this? i know a brave 
fighter must be the only one left standing, and he and his consort become our 
majesties..but i was curious about the requirements for such an honor...any 
info would be greatly appreciated...isabella
ps...is it a "secret" as to who is fighting this time around or is there a 
list of the participants and their consorts? since i am so new, if this is 
out of protocol, i do apologize..just trying to learn..
