[MR] Windmasters' Hill Baronial Champions Court Report

The Court proceedings of their Excellencies of Windmasters' Hill,
Baron Iacopo Attaviano da Vizzi and Baroness Lucia Bellini, at
Windmasters' Hill Baronial Champions, September 29, A.S.36.
Baron Iacopo did welcome all in attendance and spoke most highly about the
event. He also had a word of rememberance for Master Aldwin Longwalker who
left us very unexpectedly recently.
Lord Declan MacDockery, the Autocrat of the event, did then address the
court thanking everyone for their attendance and, also, the members of the
event staff.
The presentations of the competition winners, as wll as the new Champions
of Windmasters' Hill followed. Their Excellencies thanked all of their
departing Champions and asked that they escort their successor into court.
Departing Arts and Sciences Champion: Lady Clare Hele
Winner of the Tactile Competition: Lord Stefan O'Reilly for his bow making
prowess. (He displayed a bow in progress and
one that was finished.)
Stephanie O'Reily for her felted wool boots.
New Baronial Artisan: Lady Derdriu Igen Muiredaig
Winner of the Preformance Competition: Lord Olsk Buslavl (for his ORIGINAL poem
in Middle English with modern translation
New Baronial Bard: Lady Cecile du le Poulet Rouge (Also known as Lady Tahira
from Kappellenberg)
Departing Archery Champion: Manus MacDay
Winner of the Slit Shoot Archery Tournament: Lord Tiege MacLennon
New Baronial Archery Champion: Lord Stephan O'Reily
Departing Rapier Champion: Baron Alajandro Mateo Ramirez y Mendoza
Winner of the Rapier Tourney (Double Elimination): Sir Daemon Broussard
New Baronial Courtier: Lady Gisele d'Orpheline
Sir Deamon passed the tourney prize on to Lord Olsk Buslavl.
Departing Heavy Champion: Lord Magnus Tindal
Winner of the Champions Tourney (Bedford Points): Sir Daemon Broussard
New Baronial Champion: Rafkell Melraki Einersson
Sir Daemon them did award the Tournay Prize to Lord Johnathon Blackbow for
preformance on the field that day. (Lord Blackbow had already left the event
site and the prize will be passed on to his at a later date.)
Lady Brianna MacConmara did come into court and spin a tale of two gentles in
the Barony who are slowly sending themselves down the path of insanity
due to their service. They were then called into court and inducted into
the Order of the Don Quixote for service above and beyond sanity.

Their excellencies did then have other business to conduct:
Chow Noshitomi, Order of the Tempest
Lord Johan Kreig was then called into court for the presentation of the
Windmasters' Hill Chivalry cup. This cup was re-named the "Master Aldwin
Longwalker Cup of Chivalry" and was presented to Master Valdemar Wendel Bayard
for his prowess and courtesy on the field. Master Valdemar then proceeded
to pass it along to Lord Declan MacDockery.
Lady Rosalind Delamere then did come into court to relinquish the Seneschalate
of the Canton of Kappellenberg to Lord Chow Noshitome. (Chow accepted even
though he had to be sought out and dragged into court...)
Lady Rosalind did then pass on the Windmasters' Hill Rapier cup of Honor
of Lord Olsk Buslavl.
There excellencies then did have more business to which they did attend:

Their Excellencies did then welcome Lady Deidru Igen Muiredaig as the new
Windmasters' Hill Minister of Arts and Sciences.
Their Excellencies then did welcome, personally everyone for whom this was
their first event.
