A message boy skitters into the room, tacks up a billet and then quickly
scampers out the door. The message reads:

Unto the populace of fair Atlantia, greetings from Lord William of
Rencester:

Be it known to one and all that for the forthcoming celebration of our Noble
Kingdom’s Bidecennial, there is need for many hands to carry water and other
revitalizing liquid to combatants and spectators for the tournaments and
melees of this grand celebration. Two days of battle in the searing sun and
salty winds of Dun Carraig shall surely fell many of our knights, provosts,
archers, and other men and women of arms if they do not receive your aid!

The main tournament field shall be divided between rapier and heavy weapons.
In the middle of this field shall be located the main water-bearing point
(to be set up beneath a canopy). This shall provide an excellent vantage
point for water bearers.

Additionally, persons of great strength shall be needed to carry water to
the main and auxiliary watering stations. Auxiliary stations shall be
located at the archery and thrown weapons fields as well as at the children’
s activities center. A wagon shall be provided for transporting water to
these stations.

Inquiries may be made privately to Lord William at the address below.
Alternatively, a list shall be kept at troll for interested parties to sign
up when arriving at the celebration.

Marked with the seal of Lord William of Rencester (heraldry pending
submission):

Per Pale Vert and Argent three Bars wavy and a Lyre counterchanged.
