I agree that a play is not a ceremony.  But if you
give a play with religious content as entertainment at
a feast, then you are opening yourself up to a bunch
of flak, whether it is OK under corpora or not.  And
to me, giving it at feast is a gray area because folk
who were uncomfortable would have to choose between
enjoying food and companionship and escaping what they
perceived as religious oppression.  Same issue with
efore/after/during court.

There was just this scenario in Caer Mear some years
back when we attempted to put on a story about the
real St Nick at Masqued Ball.  We finally abandoned it
only a few weeks before the event after two months of
practicing because we felt that we could not schedule
it any time or place but feast and that was not
acceptable. Sadly, I think we made the right decision.
