All of these are fine. They don't expect me to join in the bit of
prayer, or sing hymns alongside them, or pray at any altar which
the cloth would cover. The play's the touchy part. The other
examples are things that are done by individuals, more or less on
their own nickel. The play would require space at the event; at a
large event like a University, I could see one being put on as
part of a thread of classes in period drama, though.
