There's also an alternate route to the PA turnpike -when you get to I70 in
Hancock (actually slightly after that point), just before going into PA,
there's another interstate - I 68 West.  Taking that to the complete other
end drops you into I 79 in WVa, where you can then go north...  The
downside to this is that its up & down a lot of mountains.
