HERALDRY - Kingdom Pends for January

The following was pended at Golden Dolphin's January meeting:

Hrothgar Gunn-Arr.	Name and device.
Or, in pale a label gules and a lion couchant reguardant queued of
nine tails sable, vomiting flames gules.
	This was pended to allow Golden Dolphin and the submitter to
conclude a running email conversation about the submitted name.	
	The term ‘kipnuyarbullah', which you used to describe the lion, has
not been used previously in SCA heraldry.  If you wish to use it, you
must follow the established procedure: document the term to period
and provide evidence that this is the normal period depiction.
Lacking such documentation and unable to find any ourselves, we have
reblazoned the charge.  We have not blazoned the position of the
tails, as Laurel routinely cuts such details from the final blazon to
save space in the Ordinary and Armorial.
