Planned it out today and it actually doesn't look too bad, so John for now
count me in! Aemilia said she is in too!

I would be crazy enough to think about it. It is a longgggg way for me to go
and the gas alone is prohibitive, There is a lot of time and time to think
about it. I know I would like nothing more than to spread the St.
Sebastian's like seed to all corners of the map.. :)

Subject: [Archers] A proposal/question

My fellow archers,

It seems cog has done what cog does so well, he has stepped in it again! I
posted on FB that the archery at Gulf Wars was not very exciting. In truth
it was Royal Round targets at the standard distances with a prize shoot each
day in the afternoon. This was the set for the entire war. The war point,
which archers got to shoot only once during the war, was the slot at 20
yards and the clout. Now in Atlantia I have become spoiled for you see we
expect an archery range to have lots of targets and interesting things to
shoot. Sadly not every kingdom sees it that way. I offer the St. Sebastian
Shoot at Pennsic as evidence. Now my comments in FB were taken exception to
by a Lord Egil. I know Egil and consider him a friend. He has worked very
hard for many years running the range at Gulf Wars. No issues there. But
he did respond to my FB post with a "then you run it" type response.
Understandable. Thus I propose/challenge/ask the archers of Atlantia how
many are willing to travel to Gulf Wars next year and show the known world
how to conduct a REAL archery shoot? We could do a St. Sabastian type thing
but realize Gulf Wars runs a whole week. I personally do not have the
capacity to haul a range full of targets to GW. It takes me one whole trip
just to haul the targets for War of the Winds and two trips for the targets
for SAAD. (Good thing I live reasonably close!)

We have plenty of time so at this point I'm just asking if there is
interest.
