Actually, there is already an atlatl category under the TWIC ( thrown weapons inter kingdom
competition). Let me first say.... And I will continue to say so... Atlatl does NOT belong
under TW :)

It uses 3 darts at each of 3 distances - 10, 15, 20 yds - and the target is much smaller
(3 rings 14", 8", 3") same for the other TW subsets. 1, 3, 5 pts each, respectively.
Also, I think I have only seen maybe 2 submissions to the web page over the last
??? Years :). Just putting this out there :)

Scores will improve as participation improves. Right now there is nothing to gauge skill in AtlAtl. There is going to be a skill curve for a while. It will be like any skill, if folks have the motivation to work on getting better they will.

Im just hoping that everyone keeps in mind that Atlatl is not as accurate as archery is and putting those same limitations on everyone from the start troubles me. If the community feels it is the way to go, I will consider it and we can move on. I am seeing increased Atlatl involvement at many archery events and even those I consider seasoned throwers have problems hitting a RR target at 20 yards.
