[Archers] Leadership Change?

Siegfried,
I wondered about that as well.  A few years back my lady and I did the
Known World Scribal Symposium in London England.  We went over a few
days early to tour London and meet up with some friends from Trimaris.
His Excellency Octovio de Flores was the Trimarian Tritan Herald (in
charge of all heraldry for Trimaris) and he told me his trip was
partially paid for by Trimaris as he was a kingdom officer.  When I
questioned him about it, as the Atlantian DEM for target archery, he
informed me that MY position was not an Officer of State but one of the
lesser offices and thus had no budget for such trips (not that a scribal
symposium - yawn - would have applied!).

Lorelei, is a change happening in the structure of the Kingdom Offices?


For the Kingdom Target Archery Marshal, has not been an 'Office of
State', for at leat over a decade. 

Ever since all the marshal positions became jusy deputies. And therefore
the official title was just "Deputy Kingdom Earl marshal for Target
Archery"

Hence where there aren't any 'of state' items. The office is
filled/served as a deputy, at the behest of the Kingdom Earl Marshal. 

Now that's not to say we can't still have some fun with making our own
regalia for it!

Yes, I promise it is happening.  I know I've been talking about it for a
while, but I want to pass on to you that Janyn has officially been
approved by Sir Otto and Their Majesties.  He will assume leadership as
an Officer of State at Atlantian Court at Pennsic.   

I encourage all who are attending Pennsic to be at Court to cheer him in
as he takes over DEM of the Atlantian archery community. 

It occurred to me that we do not have any Accouterments of Office, and
other Offices of State do.  Anyone have any ideas?  (Don't they?)
Should we make him wear a funny hat?
