[Archers] 'Kingdoms' vs. 'Known World' -- was: Re: Known World Archery Event

While I'm loving these ideas as well. I'd like to point out a couple
things that should be considered:

1) Having a 'competition' ala the three local kingdoms. Is not a 'Known
World' style event. It's a 3-kingdom competition. It sounds awesome.
But it's going to discourage people from around the Known World to come
and just attend. (Just like many are discouraged from attending
Pennsic, because of the exclusive nature of some shoots there).
If we wanted to do something like this, it should probably be called
the 'TriKingdom Archery Tournament', or something similar. (With a nod
towards Harry Potter - Maybe we could have a big goblet you had to put
your scorecards into at the end of the day?)

2) The 'Known World' series of events (Rapier, Heraldic, etc) are not
focused on competition. But on education & fun. I would assume that a
Known World Archery event, would have lots of classes on archery
(shooting, equipment making, history, etc).
As well as perhaps numerous different ranges/courses set up for
people to go shoot throughout the day. (Think like Will's Revenge used
to be, with 6 different courses you could go shoot at any point during
the day)

3) If you want to call this 'Knowne World', then you are going to need
to get permission from the Society Target Archery Marshal, who in turn
will probably need to setup a bidding/rotation process, similar to the
other Known World events for the future.
