Oky doky, Lorelei is on to something here. As all know, Atlantia has
SAAD. Perhaps we will soon also have a MAAD and maybe even some day a
NAAD. I was able to convice our southern fellows, that would be
Trimaris, to call their archery only day TAD. Thus we "could" have TAD,
SAAD, MAAD, and NAAD. Now, in talking these possibilities over with my
Trimarian archer buddies at Pennsic, that would be the kingdom herald
who is also a very good upcoming archer and a landed baron, along with
the Trimarian Head Ranger, that would be their equivilent to our DEM,
the idea was floated to have a KWAD sometime in the not too distant
future. KWAD would then be the Known World Archery Day. Hey!!! The
heralds have their Known World Scribal Symposium, this year's hosted in
the barony of Sacred Stone. So why not have a KWAD? The St. Sebastian
group had tossed around the idea of that shoot, held at Pennsic this
year and a smashing success, being considered as the Known World Archery
Champion shoot. So the idea of a KWAD is in the minds of many SCA
archers.

Of course when SAAD 1 was held and attended by a large contingent of
northern archers, it was known that they were sitting around their
campfire Saturday evening discussing holding a similar event up north.
I tried to convince them to call it NAAD with the idea that after a few
years of hosting both NNAD and SAAD we could then meet in a middle
ground, i.e. Virginia area, for a Blue and Grey Archery Day in which the
southern archers can avenge the "northern agression". hahahahaha

Let's go folks. Atlantia leads the SCA archery world with creative
ideas.

I think you need to change the name to Mid Atlantian Archery Day,
MAAD....to rival our SAAD. :-) We're still waiting on the Northern
Atlantian Archery Day. :-)

Forward for Marco who got caught in my spy web. This is a brand spankin
new event put on my our friends in Marinus. Please mark it on your
calendar and come show your support for another soon to be great archery
event.

Thank you,
Lorelei
