Additionally, if you think you can spare a few hours at an event, offer to retain. You can contact the Head Retainer through the "royal household" section of their TRMs/TRHs bio on the Atlantia main page, preferably a week in advance of the event. Its very easy, like waiting tables, just remember to be seen and not heard (don't chatter),  and don't repeat anything you overhear. It also gives you the opportunity to  get a sense of their character while watching them at work. You'll soon discover how ridiculous all the rumors and nonsense on the MR really are.

Many of us have also been attending Crown Tourney. I've thought about wearing our quivers to remind people that we are there in force, but that would probably look silly. Maybe there is another way for us spotlight our presence at the event to show the heavy community that we care? I remember someone was workng on Archery belt favors for Pennsic?  Those might do the trick.

Another idea I've heard bouncing around is to stage shoot-offs at events. Plop it down right behind where the populace will be gathering, just before   court. It can serve as entertainment while everyone waits for court to start. Maybe a Final Four instead of Eight so it will go quicker. Make use of the Heralds. B e sure to work closely with your autocrat on this, and pay extra attention to your safety fans.

There are other ways for archers to show their support of the crown and Atlantia as a whole. I know we have archers already multitasking outside our discipline - in the kitchen, at the MOL, etc... but if you have any others ideas, post them.

There has been a marked improvement in our relationship with Crown over the last 2 years. Royals from the central/southern region have made an extra effort to travel to the far reaches of the north. More of them are coming out to the range to hold short afternoon courts. And a few have children that show an interest in our sport. I was especially pleased to see TRHs at our Champion shoot, and it was SO cool when the Prince came down to the firing line to give us a pep talk (thank you Lorelei!). We need to make sure the Royals feel their outreach is noticed and appreciated.

Bottom line: the road from the Royal Pavillion to the Archery Range is a two-way street. Use it.

Cheers
