[Archers] Fwd: [SCA-Archery] E.GADS

Two pennsics ago, we attempted to host a Atlantian shoot, and the powers
that be seemed to be ok with the idea but the planning was simply started
too late (started in March if I remember correctly). If this is going to
happen it needs to start, seriously start, *now*. Approach it just like
bidding for a kingdom event. Put together a game plan for the shoot, then
present it to the Archery MIC. At which point they will ignore you or give
you space on the range.

The plan two years ago was similar to the Lochmere arrow but on a kingdom
scale as a populace archery shoot/fund raiser, teams of three, with a $2
donation per person (half to run the shoot half donated to charity), the
winning team names the charity. The idea being that each year it gets
better an bigger, kind of like the various armored charity tournaments.

If each of us bring one target there will be plenty of great targets to put
together the shoot.
