Alan,

Clearly we need more clarification on this new rule.  Can you help?  The site at DTG was wonderful last year.  Does this truly mean it is not useable?
 Best regards,

Katarzyna

Noble friends,

Interesting point about the 100 yard visibility rule. This virtually eliminates ALL woods shoots, since trees and underbrush can obscure vision behind the targets. Ditto the range for DTG's royals, since it has a stand of trees behind it. Strange that the range is good enough for the archery club that hosts us there, but we cannot use it.

If this is going to be the state of Atlantian archery, we might as all resign our warrants, as I doubt if there are many places where we can legally shoot.

With deep concern,

Mungo Napier, Shire of Isenfir Archery Marshal

I have received my March Acorn and the new rule was in it.

I also have alot concerns regarding this new rule.  I think Siegfried
summed it up pretty well. Alot of sites that have been perfectly safe in
the past are deemed unsafe now because they do not have 100 yards from
the shooting line. Having visibility of that 100 yards is another
concern, not all ranges are in a totally flat area.

This rule will no doubt elimanate archery at some events. It will be sad
to see it go.
