[Archers] Fwd: I need your help

We have been using pvc pipe fixed to the target as a sleve for the rebar to support targets for years in Sudentor and it works however the pvc evetually gets destroyed. the other thing we have started doing is using "T" rails behind the target fastening the target with wire ties. if the rail sticks above the target you can break an arrow if you miss. you can set the "t" rails with a post driver 6" in will hold most targets. as for atal-atal 10 20 30 can work very well simply set a second target 10 yds forward. the target back can be the blue foam or multiple layers of cardboard. many local stores will let you have used cardboard boxes free, put up 6 to 8 layers of cb paste on a target and shoot till it fails. allen ---------- Sent from my Verizon Wireless mobile phone

Hey, there was a chicken out target ;) (I still to this day am amazed
at how SOME bow/arrow combinations would just deflect off the rebar and
into the target. And others would just barely nick the rebar and the
arrow would explode. With no discernible difference between the
ammo/bow combination)

But anyway, I'd assume that the rebar being sheathed by PVC, would
actually protect the arrow fairly well. The arrow would probably
deflect or slightly stick into the pvc ...

I'm guessing. Perhaps I need to head out back and do some tests.
