Good point Jonathas ... And I'll just reiterate my thoughts ...

I like having representation, but I dislike 'requiring' a modern bow.  I
do like encouraging period bow use (be it crossbow or period handbow)

Therefore, my suggestion would be simply to say something like:  "3
competitors, one must be shooting a period crossbow (defined as not
having a split prod nor a rifle/pistol stock), and one shooting a period
handbow (defined as having X/Y/Z per the ATlantian RR rules)"

The 3rd competitor could use anything, modern recurve, modern longbow,
modern crossbow, whatever.
