OK, my 2 cents again. How about requiring that 2 of the 3 bows not contain
fiberglass or aluminum in their construction? Horn or wood recurves would
thereby be fine, as would self flatbows and longbows in any combination of
natural materials, but aluminum-prod crossbows or fiberglass recurves would
be limited to no more than one per group. I suspect a lot of folks who shoot
the fiberglass recurves may also have other bows they could bring out, but
may mostly shoot the fiberglass ones for various reasons (stability in
different weather conditions, etc).
