REMINDER to all archers ... The Lochmere Arrow will be
shot/competed/faughtover/decided/etc, at Highland Foorde's Co-Hosted
event this weekend ...

Siege of Glengary

As is traditional, the shoot will be shot by teams consisting of 2
archers from the same local group.  The highest scoring team will win
the right to take home the Lochmere Arrow, and to host the competition
next year.  Teams can be formed by out of Kingdom participants, and by
people of two different local groups.  These teams will not be able to
win the Lochmere Arrow itself, but there will be a prize for the top
team who was ineligible to win the Lochmere Arrow.

The shoot this year has been designed by Lady Francesca Angelo, and has
an Atlantian Theme to it (You might wanna make sure that you know the
Atlantian Orders of High Merit).

The shoot will be setup most of the day, and teams can go through and
shoot it whenever they wish.  After shooting it, they can choose to
shoot it as many times as they wish for fun.  However only the FIRST
time that your team walks through the course, will it be counted for
score.

Current plan subject to SCA-time taking effect, is that the range will
be open for practice by 10am (probably earlier), and ready for the
Lochmere Arrow to be shot at 11am (probably earlier).

The range WILL close at 4pm (at least scoring for the Lochmere Arrow
will close at that point), so that scores can be tallied and prepared
for Court.

PS.  Apologies again for the hosting the shoot at the outer-most reaches
of the Kingdom; however, it was what worked best (ok, at all) for the
current holders of the arrow.  If you would like to see it more
centrally located, I highly suggest you come, shoot, and win it, and
then host it as such.  (Alternatively, offers for hosting it at a more
central location can be submitted to whoever happens to win it)
