Weapons on prohibited on school (university, community college, and 
secondary school) grounds throughout most of Atlantia. Even if the school 
gives you permission, you could still (and most probably will be) in 
violation of state, county and city statutes. While written permission from 
staff will most likely help, keep in mind that they can't waive the law, 
and might not know that.

And if they say you can't, you should expect that you can't. Arguing law as 
a member of "harmless historical nuts"  rarely goes well for future relations.
