Good call. This is a correct place to put this type of information.  Appropriate archery information, group level or kingdom level.

Open Bow Class
But what is also not known is that there are also a couple of good scores from Atlantia in the open bow area that is not up on the web yet. These scores will put us at a score of 237 (present known scores are 262, 231, and 225). This corresponds to sixth place. Fifth place has an average of 239. We would need someone to beat the lowest score by nine points to move us up one position in this ranking.

Please pardon the use of the marshal's mailing list for this missive, but I
felt that it would garner the best response ...

The IKAC season is rapidly coming to an end, with December 1st being the
last day.  Atlantia is making a great showing in the competition this year,
however, a few more scores could put us over the top.

I would like to put out a call ... no, perhaps a challenge, to the archers
of Atlantia, to in the next few weeks go out and score another IKAC round,
especially in the areas where it is needed ...

For a quick 'recap' of the current competition:

Open Crossbow
-------------
Atlantia currently holds 2nd place!!!  Only second to Midrealm.  And we
have a number of people on that list (myself included) who can get higher
scores.  I'm not sure if we could overtake the Midrealm (Robert Thorne is
just on the OTHER side of amazing), but we can sure give them a run for the
money.

Period Crossbow
---------------
This is the BIG 'we need help' competition.  Atlantia would be in 2nd
place, and actually giving the Midrealm a good competition - EXCEPT, we
only have two scores currently submitted - Myself and Gregge the
Archer.  Period Crossbowmen, please pick up your bows and score us another
good round in this competition so that at the very least we can take our
rightful place in 2nd!

IKCAC

Don't hold your breath, but at this moment, Atlantia is WINNING!  However,
be warned, I have heard that some kingdoms have submitted scores, good
scores, that have just not made it onto the scoreboard yet ... so our lead
may be in danger ... only time will tell, but it's also never too late to
add more IKCAC scores!  (Well, until after 12/1)

Open bow
--------
Atlantia making a good showing, and has many scores in.  The East is ahead
(as usual in this category) with an average of 304.0 ... Atlantia is
currently running 'about' 8th place, with an average of 219.7 - The
midrealm is 'just' above us by about 10 points ... I know we have some
amazing bowman out there (I'm not one of them) ... perhaps we can at least
show up the Midrealm??

Period Bow
----------
Atlantia currently only has one score submitted ... and it is about 'middle
of the pack'.  It again would be very nice to get at least the 2 more
scores submitted to be ranked.


So overall, please, take up your bows/crossbows in the next three weeks and
give a good showing for Atlantia in the IKACs ... I will be doing so myself
this Sunday ...
