[Sacredstone] Feb. Meeting Agenda - Fundraising

Just as an idea. Most of us that have been in the SCA for a while have a
closet or three full of "stuff" we either don't use or could easily live
without. How about a rummage sale of this stuff where half of the sold
price goes to the fund, the other half to the owner. That way we get to
clean out a closet, or two or three, get a little cash and help a great
cause. I would suggest each item have a price of "won't sell for less than"
on it and if someone or two get in a bidding war over the item everyone
wins. Obviously the stuff should be clean and in decent repair. Ripped or
dirty clothing, broken stuff, moldy thinks (obvious, eh?) should not be
accepted.

Silent auction bake sales did really great in Trimaris~
I would be willing to chip in a few lbs of my famous drunken fudge. Last
auction it was in it raised $75 a lb :)

Maybe do this at WoW?

I still really like the idea of a tourney where you can buy resurrections.
It ends when people don't wanna pay any more :-)
