<DIV dir=ltr><FONT face=Garamond><FONT color=#494429 size=4>Greetings Unto the Fair Gentles of Atlantia Who Would Stand as Consort in Crown Tournament,</FONT></FONT><BR><FONT color=#494429 size=4 face=Garamond></FONT> <BR><FONT face=Garamond><FONT color=#494429 size=4>There will be a gathering of Consorts for breakfast, the location and time to be heralded upon the morning, for all those who stand in that honored position to gather and take their ease before the anxiousness of the day's activities begins. As part of this gentle gathering Her Highness has asked that the subject of consort gifts be addressed. </FONT></FONT><BR><FONT face=Garamond><FONT color=#494429 size=4> <BR> It has been a practice in this great Kingdom for some to provide gifts for consorts at Crown Tournaments. While it has its history, it does not have a mandate, and each Queen may offer Her words on the practice upon the occasion of Her Crown Tournament. Her
Highness Kalisa, in preparedness for Her Crown Tournament in November, has asked that all consorts pay heed to Her wishes in this regard:</FONT></FONT><BR><FONT color=#494429 size=4 face=Garamond></FONT> <BR><FONT face=Garamond><FONT color=#494429 size=4>"While the giving of consort gifts has been considered by some to be a part of Atlantian tradition, it is not an obligation. As such, I do not want anyone to feel they must participate in this facet of the day's activities. Given these difficult economic times we live in, I ask you not to take on an additional burden of providing gifts to the other consorts. However, if a consort is inclined to participate in this practice, I would ask that that he/she provide but one gift that will be collected into a dowry and presented to the new Princess of Atlantia during court. I look forward to spending a wonderful day with all of you enjoying the pageantry of this glorious
