Our most gracious and worthy Knight, Gaius Tascius Severus Fabianus<BR>has based this year's Highland River Melees on the Hundred Years War. Heavy<BR>fighting will be between many teams representing
Duchies, Baronies,<BR>mercenary bands etc. These teams will be organized into two 'kingdoms': the<BR>French and the English, the leaders will be chosen by a male only tourney<BR>for 'the Black Prince' and a female only tourney for 'Joan of Arc'. Be<BR>prepared for a long campaign. Participants can leave and rejoin the<BR>fighting throughout the day. Classes)<BR>Pancake Breakfast<BR><BR>Site information: Our new site this year, Little Orleans Campground,<BR>features 11 acres of flat open grounds surrounded by wooded camping sites.<BR>Facilities include a camp store with groceries, beverages, beer/wine, ice,<BR>LP gas and firewood. Site is wet, no modern containers. Pets are welcome<BR>and must remain leashed. They will be asked to leave if they cause a<BR>disturbance or are not cleaned up after. Shower and pool are available with<BR>a short but very steep walk. Water is available on-site but you must bring<BR>your own container to transport it.
