This book is a collection of dances from Caroso's Il Ballarino, reconstructed for dancers and musicians of all skill levels. Included in this book are twenty-one dances with music, twenty-six steps, and three new charts.<br>> <br>> The dances have been written in a simple, standardized format that is easy to follow, with footnotes throughout to explain any complex sections of choreography and all interpretations and changes from the original. Further, the steps have been redefined into modern, concise English. The music has been transposed into modern sheet music and a second piece has been provided, transposed into a new key and delineated into three parts specifically for recorders.
