<DIV>Let it be knowne that I, Duncan the Elder, will be stepping down as baronial knight marshal at Investiture at the end of February. Therefore I am in the process of seeking a successor in this post. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>The Baronial Knight Marshal supervises the activities of all the deputy marshals in the barony. He is responsible for seeing that practices are taking place as scheduled and are being marshalled according to the regulations of the Society. He is required to attend all Monthly Baronial Meetings unless unavoidably unavailable. Like the deputy marshals (heavy, light, archery) he must report on the practices and other activities at which he has personally marshalled over the past month, including all relevant incidents, activities, projects, and proposals. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>His most crucial responsibility is to assemble all waiver forms signed at all martial practices in the barony during each calendar year quarter and mail them to the kingdom waiver secretary while maintaining copies of said waivers on file in the barony. The waiver secretary must receive the quarterly waivers no later than the last day of the month following the end of the quarter. Failure to receive said waivers by the deadline may very likely result in the indefinite suspension of all official martial activities within the barony by the Kingdom Earl Marshal including practices, tournaments, and meles. </DIV>
<DIV>Therefore the quarterly waivers <STRONG>must arrive on time.</STRONG></DIV>

<DIV>Applicants must be warranted marshals in one of the combat disciplines: heavy weapons, light weapons, thrown weapons, or archery. Qualifications include reliability,</DIV>
