size=2>OMG I should be flogged. I forgot to mention that an act of
true heroism occurred at the Cavalry site. Sir Vlad FIXED the broken horse
trailer/truck which allowed the Calvary team to drive themselves
home! His uncommon valor freed ME up from trying to find a ride home ( to
fair South Carolina ) for 2 humans and atleast 2 horses. Thanks also
to all who tried to help me arrange rides home for the horses an humans.

Many Many thanks to all who made the Storvik<BR>Novice Tournament a grand
display of the SCA at it's finest!<BR><BR>Dame Brenna of Storvik and Baroness
Johanna Von Sudeborn thanks for all the<BR>direction, guidance and shared
experience. Priceless.<BR><BR>Marshal in Charge Sir Colin,
splendid tournament. Simply splendid!<BR><BR>Rapier, Stephen Bridewell,
thanks for your patience as I bungled through<BR>planning and executing my
first stab at Autocratting.<BR><BR>Youth Combat Marshal, William the
Younger, your dedication and hard work
is<BR>appreciated!<BR><BR>Archery, I understand there were 27 archers shooting
at one point in the<BR>day! Vivat!<BR><BR>MOL- Dame Brenna, you are the
best at keeping the list. You get to meet ALL<BR>the fighters....
hmmm maybe I should look at learning that job!<BR><BR>A&S, Kim of
Wolfshaven as usual your work is fabulous. There were 13<BR>entries in
the Novice A&S competition. Thanks also for the fabulous
Site<BR>tokens!<BR><BR>Lady Devora, Feast, really yummy. As usual, your
handmade taste treats are<BR>glorious!<BR><BR>Lady Katherine, Youth
Activities, Loved the pool at the end of the day. Not<BR>a bored child
to be found!<BR><BR>Lady Tirzah, Lady Orla, Holli, Troll and reservations, job
well done. A lot<BR>of people went through troll smoothly and mostly

grateful for you dedidation the<BR>keeping the populace and fighters
watered.<BR><BR>Baronies of Ponte Alto, Dun Carrig and Bright Hills, Shire of
Spiaggia<BR>Levantina, we were all thrilled to have such a great turnout from
our<BR>cousins! Dun Carrig, you have inspired us to make a
dayshade!<BR><BR>Wondering when I was getting to the horses weren't
you.<BR><BR>I did not get to meet all the Cavalry folks. For that I am
sad. I would<BR>mention everyone by name but I don't know them. So
please all of you accept<BR>The Barony of Storvik's grateful thanks for ALL
THE HARD WORK!<BR><BR>The Cavalry Team met with a few unplanned
surprises. The travel to MD was<BR>peppered with trucks that didnt want
to come to MD. Humans and Horses<BR>perservered and made it to bring the
First Atlantian Cavalry event to us. I<BR>will never again complain about
setting up my pavilion and putting out my<BR>cool medieval stuff for a weekend
event. If you hear me whining remind me of<BR>how much work the Cavalry humans
did!<BR><BR>Baroness Beatrice, there are not enough words to express our
gratitude to<BR>you. Baroness Bea showed up Friday at 5pm, set up all
the Cavalry Games,<BR>roped off the fields and helped set up the Big Mucking
Tent, AFTER driving a<BR>huge truck and HUGE horse trailer from South Carolina
to MD. She drove that<BR>darn thing like it was a small car. This event
would not have happened<BR>without her. From planning to execution she
was awesome.<BR><BR>My real life Sister Dee showed up to simply help with the
horses and left<BR>the event Authorized Advanced Cavalry Member. Yes,
she now needs Garb,<BR>pavilion and a blue card. She sent for SCA
membership today.<BR><BR>The Populace, Vivat, Vivat, Vivat! Thanks for
coming and making last<BR>weekend the most attended Storvik Novice
Tourney. I hope you had as good a<BR>time as we all did!<BR><BR>Last but
far from least, my Lord/Husband Sean Delamare. When I stepped up<BR>to
do this event, he shook his head and said, "Do you have any idea how
much<BR>work this is" Then he agreed to help. He listened to my
tales of<BR>Autocratting my first event. He listened to the complicated issues
of<BR>Cavalry at events. He helped me figure out just who was who and
what they<BR>do. From raising my hand at a Barony meeting and
volunteering to do this<BR>event, til the end he has helped with everything.
Thanks honey, you are the<BR>best!<BR><BR>I do not have complete results with
names of all the Tourneys. As soon as I<BR>get a complete list I will
post it.<BR><BR>If I have forgotten anyone please forgive me.<BR><BR>In
