Happy Monday Ponte Alto!

How is everyone doing this week?

University registration is open! You have until September 10th to register
for classes on the 12th, and like last time, to attend a class you must

September is going to be a little different!

First I want to announce a virtual Bardic competition! We had planned to do
our annual scary/fae/fairy stories competition at the Wild Hunt in October,
but alas we cannot. So instead, we're doing it online! You have 1 month to
prepare your best scary stories in poem, song, prose, or whichever form you
like. Then, by October 1st, send them to me at either this email or
moas at pontealto.atlantia.sca.org. On the 10th (planning around Court, of
course), we'll have a bardic circle and hear everyone who so chooses to
perform their piece!

Next, because we got such a good response, I'm starting alternating monthly
get together. Each month, on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, we'll have
either a Ponte Alto Foodie's Gathering (odd months) or a Garb Workshop
(even months). Each of these will start off with a theme and a short lesson
on that theme and then open it up for a hangout and open discussion. This
month is an odd month so we're doing food! The theme and short class will
be on mulling spices and mulled drinks for fall.
