[Ponte Alto] Quick Business Meeting @ Baronial Cookie Bake-Off/Newcomer's Mtg

Greetings Unto The List:

Although we are not having a full Business Meeting in December, as
previously announced, we have decided to open a brief meeting at the Cookie
Bake-Off/Newcomer's Meeting on 12/9/16 to vote on an event budget. At the
Business Meeting on 11/27/16 the Barony had decided that we would like to
put in a bid for Spring Crown Tournament 2017.  This will require us
passing a proposed event budget to be submitted to the Kingdom for
consideration.  Voting on this proposed budget will be the only business
conducted on 12/9/16.

Please remember that only dues paid members may vote on financial
decisions, so we ask that everyone that intends to participate in this vote
have their membership card with them.

Information regarding the Newcomer's Mtg/Baronial Cookie Bake-Off is as
follows:

Newcomers Meeting & Baronial Cookie Bake-off / Cookie Exchange
Date: Friday, December 9th
Host: Lady Barbara MacAuley & Lord Séamus Ó Maoil Riain
Location: 8715 Etta Drive, Springfield, VA
Time: 7 - 10 pm
Parking: Street.
Allergy Alert: One dog and one cat in residence, please medicate as
necessary.
Accessibility: Not ADA accessible-- one or two steps into the house, stairs
to where the restroom facilities are.

Newcomer's gatherings are open to everyone old or new. No garb required.
Come hang out, talk, meet new people. Feel free to bring a project to work
on.

We will be taking some time from the newcomer's meeting/cookie bake-off to
hold a quick Baronial Business Meeting. Please bring your blue member card in
order to participate! Thank you in advance!

Please note, you are not required to participate in the Cookie Bake-off to
attend - we have simply combined the events.

Cookie Bake-off & Exchange Information:

Lady Magdalena Pia was last year's Champion. She will be hosting the
following competition for fun and prizes:
Best Overall Cookies - decided by popular vote of all those present

To participate you must do the following:
1. Bring 3 dozen cookies for each entry - yes you can enter more than one
cookie
2. Bring a typed ingredient list to be display with your entry - this is
for allergen alert purposes
3. Be willing to have fun and taste test other people's cookies

Not required but if you would like to bring 10 copies of your recipe to
share.
