*Atlantian Royal Archery Tournament: Stop the Invasion!*
April 9, 2016
Barony of Bright Hills

* – *Stop the presses! We have an urgent plea from Lady Katarzyna
Witkowska, Chief Dragon Wrangler, for the Barony of Bright Hills: while
awaiting the kingdom's imminent invasion, our lands have been overrun by
small, pesky dragons! We need the energy and ambition of young, budding
archers [the children] to participate in a tournament and slay the pests
with our trebuchet and crossbows. You can also decorate your own dragon
egg. There will be coloring as well. Please help!

It will take many hands besides those of our premier archers to save our
kingdom. We also call upon bards to come lend their breath to songs and
sagas, and bend the strings of their instruments to inspire our forces to
feats of daring and skill.

For those looking to find new homes for garb, accessories, feast gear and
the rest of the panoply of items used make your personnae come alive (who
want to clear their closets and shelves to make room for the new things
they plan to make or buy), Lady Livi will host an SCA garage sale, with the
proceeds to benefit the barony's regalia. Come pepapred to donate, and to
buy!

*Yes, we're having a tournament to select the next Atlantian Royal Archer,
and offering opportunities to compete for a year's bragging rights as the
best in any royal round category except Novice. But there are reasons for
non-archers to attend. *Come to join with the bards, or just listen; come
for the children's dragon-slayer tournament; come to donate to and/or buy
from the garage sale *and the merchants*; come to sip new flavors at
Sekunjabin Tavern; come to savor the food of the Bright Hills Cooks Guild
