Servas! Unto the Populace of Faire Atlantia, Greetings from Gisela Triton
Herald!

I have held the office of Triton Principal Herald of Atlantia since 12th
Night in the reign of Cuán VI and Pádraigín III, nearly three years. Though
I have enjoyed my time in office very much and found great satisfaction in
working with the heralds and scribes of this great kingdom, the time draws
near for me to step aside and allow another person to bring their skills
and perspective to the office.

Those who would apply for the office should send their letter of interest
with a copy of their SCA resume to Their Majesties (trm AT atlantia DOT
sca.org) , Their Highnesses (trh AT atlantia DOT sca.org ) and myself
(herald AT atlantia DOT sca.org ) by the end of business Thursday Oct 2.

Triton reports to Laurel King of Arms and serves the Populace of Atlantia
and Her Crown. Triton administers both the College of Heralds and the
College of Scribes of Atlantia, ensuring there are enough active, reliable
and trained people to properly handle the need generated by a kingdom of
this size. Triton is responsible for organizing matters of precedence at
Crown Tournaments, maintaining the kingdom OP, and ensuring submissions
from the kingdom are well handled, fully defended and move in a timely
fashion. Triton is also a member of the Kingdom Financial Committee.

The office requires between 5 and 15 hours a week, attendance at
significant kingdom events to attend the Crown, Internet access and
responsiveness, an understanding of the submissions and commentary process,
a solid understanding of Royal Courts and people management skills.
