[Ponte Alto] Bloodbath Redux!

Greetings from the Autocrat of Bloodbath Redux!

Just a quick note to let everyone (those who attended, and those who were
unable) know that the event was a great success. My thanks goes out to
everyone who attended.

Between the incredible July weather (humid, but not too hot), and the
support of the Kingdom Earl Marshal, (Sir Otto, who enabled us to hold Last
Chance for Pennsic authorizations one day after the posted cut off) in the
stead of a few neighbors for whom circumstances did not permit their events,
and many folks who gave up half of their own last weekend before Pennsic to
come out and help run the event, we were able to keep Bloodbath on the
calendar, and serve the many folks who look forward to it every year.

At the risk of missing someone (like field deputies and MiTs), I would like
to thank the following people without whose efforts, this event would not
have been the success it was:

Please extend my thanks to any deputies, assistants, and MiTs I failed to
call out. They were all integral in our success.

I would also like to personally commend Mary Dotson and her husband, Rick,
who (between the two of them) came early, stayed late, and always stepped in
when they saw something that needed doing, without waiting to be asked. In
my opinion, their style is the heart of what makes the SCA endure.
