Greetings all,
If you are new to the SCA,  I invite you to come on a Newcomer Tour, at
Coronation, on Saturday, April 6!
If you know of someone who is interested in the SCA, please forward my
invitation to come to Coronation this coming Saturday!
Atlantian Spring Coronation  in an Event held where our current King &
Queen, Vladimir and Kalisa, will step down from the throne, and the current
Prince and Princess, Amos and Ysabella, will step up and be crowned. There
will Heavy Armored Combat, Rapier Tournaments, Archery, Thrown Weapons, an
Artisan's row, Merchants, Arts and Sciences competitions and Displays, and
a great deal of Fun!
When you come, your first stop will be at "Troll". This is where you enter
the site, and will pay the site fee (if you have  not already
preregistered) and sign any waivers nessesary if you are not an SCA Member.
At "Troll", you will get instructions of where to park your car, and
answers to other immediate questions. People attending this Event will all
be dressed in Medieval style clothing. But do not fear if you do not have
any such attire! There is "Gold Key", which has medieval style clothing you
may borrow for the day!
I will be leading 2 tours: one at 11am and the second at 1pm. Both will
meet at Troll. Both tours will be about 1 hour long. As we stroll around
the site, I will try to introduce you to those who can explain what they
are doing, answer questions about the SCA in general, or any specific
questions you may have. My goal will be to help any new folks have a very
enjoyable day!
This Atlantian Spring Coronation will be held at the Pipsico Boy Scout
Reserve (57 Pipsico Road, Spring Grove, VA 23881). The website, with
